Pick up a baguette sandwich, quiche or croissant near Issy-Val de Seine. Hydrate, shower and nap for no more than 45 minutes.

Taxi is easiest with fitting shoes and accessories. Metro is possible, but today is not the day to wrestle luggage after a long flight.

22 Rue de l'Odéon, 75006. Bring nude seamless underwear, the intended heel height and five shortlisted looks. Confirm collection, Friday return, cleaning, deposit, damage terms and whether a garment bag is supplied.

Walk to 34 Rue Saint-Sulpice for the chocolate-mousse bar. Choose one tasting cup to share rather than turning it into a heavy meal; the boutique is close to Odéon and normally opens Wednesday until 19:00.

Pick up a galette from Breizh Café Odéon, or a sandwich, fruit, water and one excellent pastry nearby. Take a taxi to Parc André Citroën; this keeps dinner flexible and avoids a rushed restaurant meal.

Meet the Association Française d'Astronomie team in front of the greenhouses. The City of Paris event is free and begins at 19:00; settle somewhere with the open western horizon.

First contact is 19:22 and maximum eclipse is 20:17. Use certified ISO 12312-2 eclipse glasses at all times; ordinary sunglasses are unsafe. Do not point a camera, binoculars or telescope at the Sun without a proper front-mounted solar filter.

Taxi the short distance to Issy. Hang the gown, lay out the suit and shoes, charge every device, and confirm Thursday's HMUA, 17:30 driver and bouquet delivery. The evening schedule means you can sleep properly after the eclipse.

Hydrate after the eclipse night and choose eggs, yogurt, fruit and a pastry. Keep the morning calm; an evening shoot is won by arriving fresh rather than squeezing in sightseeing.

Steam the gown and suit, polish shoes, check the bouquet and photograph the gown's condition. Chymo and Ian make the final weather call by noon; keep Chantilly available only if Sceaux cannot approve the new time.

Choose grilled fish, an omelette, salad or a simple galette. Avoid red sauces, very salty food and anything likely to stain or feel heavy in formalwear.

Ask for humidity-resistant makeup, secure hair and a small touch-up kit. Ian showers and dresses last. Capture a few hotel-prep clips, then pack the Osmo away before entering the authorised shoot.

Gown, veil, suit, rings, bouquet, flats, blotting paper, lint roller, safety pins, water, snack and the €850 cash balance in a sealed envelope. Keep the kit compact because props and production equipment are not approved.

Allow 30–45 minutes from Novotel Suites Issy and ask the driver to remain nearby. Carry the authorisation email offline and travel in flats with the gown protected.

Start close to the château so the two hours are spent photographing, not crossing the 180-hectare park. Confirm the exit route and keep the 20:30 closing time visible to everyone.

Chapter one: château façade and intimate portraits. Chapter two: formal parterres and the Orangerie axis. Chapter three: long garden perspective and movement as the light softens. Handheld cameras only: no tripod, drone, reflector, lighting, decorations or video equipment. No Osmo 360 during the shoot. Deliverable: 60 colour-corrected and 16 retouched photographs.

Leave promptly before the park closes at 20:30. Photograph the gown's condition, hang it in the garment bag, pay the €850 cash balance and request a written receipt.

Book River Café or La Passerelle. Order steak-frites, duck or fresh fish, then share tarte tatin or profiteroles. Keep one outfit-change bag in the car so dinner feels relaxed.

If Thursday succeeded: leave the hotel around 07:15 and continue with the Paris day below. If Thursday was postponed: cancel Friday's city plans, protect the gown, reconfirm Chymo, HMUA and driver, and repeat the 14:15–20:15 Sceaux call sheet.

Arrive close to opening time at 4 Place du Trocadéro. Share the famous hot chocolate, a croissant and one pastry. If the queue is longer than 15 minutes, use a nearby café and keep the morning moving.

Walk the Trocadéro terraces and down toward the Seine for the classic Eiffel view that does not appear in the family programme. Keep this a relaxed phone-and-Osmo memory rather than another formal shoot.

Photograph it before handover and obtain written return confirmation. Do not return the gown if the 14 August weather backup is active. Arrange the extension, late return or 15 Aug handover with TheBride Paris in writing before travel.

Return to Issy for a simple lunch, shower and proper rest. Keep this protected recovery window after two demanding days; the afternoon does not need to begin until you feel ready.

Taxi to Place des Vosges, walk beneath the arcades and continue through the quieter Marais streets. Browse selectively and stop for coffee only if needed; dinner is the food highlight.

Reserve 22 Rue du Grenier Saint-Lazare. Order the signature aligot for its silky cheese pull and pair it with an Auvergne main to share. This replaces another generic central bistro and gives the day a memorable finish.

Return directly to Novotel. Back up the day's photos, check Saturday holiday openings and keep the next morning gentle.

Taxi to Sacré-Cœur before the busiest hour. Walk Place du Tertre, Rue de l'Abreuvoir and the quieter lanes downhill. Wear comfortable shoes; the slopes and cobbles are real.

Choose an open bakery or café rather than chasing one reservation. Buy a baguette, cheese or madeleines for Sunday's train bag while shops are open.

Reserve if available or arrive early. This is a fun place to try œufs mayonnaise, escargots, beef bourguignon, duck confit and profiteroles at approachable prices.

Heat plan: a covered passage or an open museum not included in the family itinerary. Comfortable weather: Canal Saint-Martin, or Place des Vosges only if Friday became the Sceaux backup. Confirm holiday opening directly before travelling.

Separate one CDG/TGV day bag with passports, tickets, chargers, medicines, water and snacks. Weigh luggage and back up all shoot files.

Choose La Passerelle, Issy Guinguette or a nearby restaurant confirmed open for the holiday. Keep alcohol light and finish by 21:30.

Confirm taxi for 07:00, Novotel checkout, SQ336 terminal, the family meeting point and TGV tickets on both phones.

Check wardrobes, bathroom sockets, safe, refrigerator and under the bed. Photograph the room and keep the hotel invoice.

Load luggage before settling city tax or incidentals. Keep train food and documents outside the main suitcases.

Novotel Issy is outside central Paris, so confirm the quoted fare in advance. Allow 75–90 minutes and request a vehicle that fits all luggage.

SQ336 currently uses Terminal 1. Confirm the live terminal that morning and meet after immigration and baggage, not at the aircraft arrival time.

Keep breakfast grab-and-go. Redistribute heavy items and buy water, fruit, sandwiches and something sweet for the train.

Use the free automatic shuttle from Terminal 1. Follow signs for Terminal 2 and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV; avoid waiting until everyone feels completely finished at arrivals.

The station is beneath Terminal 2. Check the departure board, find the coach position and be ready at the platform before boarding begins.

The Paris pre-wedding chapter closes and the family trip begins. Keep passports, tickets, water and valuables at the seat.
